THE TOUR OF LONDON
In
September 2002 I visited central London
for five days in order to see the historic sites and museums.
I stayed in South
Kensington, which is a convenient location to all central London Underground
lines.
Here are the main sites I visited, listed by day:
Victoria and Albert Museum,
Royal Mews (coaches)
and
Buckingham Palace

Westminster Abbey and
St. Paul's Cathedral

Tower of London and
National Gallery of Art

Kensington Palace and
Science Museum

There's a lot to see in these places, so don't
hope to go to more than a couple of sites each day,
even if you zip between them
by the
London Underground as I did.
